Olga put together a complete, thoroughly enjoyable and truly unforgettable trip for us on our visit to St. Petersburg. This was our first visit to Russia and Olga blended a combination of all the typical tourist highlights with out-of-the-way uniquely local Russian neighborhoods and shops and delicious restaurants for us. Olga also shared her personal family background and experiences growing up in Russia which only added to our sense of really learning about her country and its people. She made it a point to learn about us and what we liked in order to give us memorable experiences of particular stores, history and types of foods which will linger forever in our memories of our Russian trip.
Her excellent command of English made communication very easy and her knowledge of history, economics and geography allowed us to ask questions and receive in depth answers which added more to the value of our vacation. Olga was always lively, full of energy and excited about sharing her homeland with us and in keeping us enthusiastic about everything we did see and all the things we still had ahead of us. Although we saw many beautiful spots within St. Petersburg, probably our two favorites were St. Isaac’s Cathedral for its massive size and huge dome and, of course, the Hermitage Museum with its countless pieces of art which nearly defy description.
To anyone planning to go to Russia, specifically St. Petersburg, we would highly recommend Olga’s tour and guidance as the best possible value for your money……the best way to get immersed in this unique country and culture in the least amount of time. Every minute of our tour was a true pleasure and a worthwhile experience primarily because of Olga’s unique abilities and knowledge. We would use her again in a moment!
