We have traveled to St. Petersburg twice by cruise ship (three days each cruise), and Olga was our guide both times for each and every day. St. Petersburg is a magnificent city, and Olga is by far the most knowledgeable and personable guide we have encountered anywhere in the world!
One of our favorite sights in St. Petersburg is the Hermitage Museum. A visit to the Hermitage with Olga is a very special experience. She knows just how to bring the art and history to life with her expertise and superb background in art history. Her English is absolutely perfect!
One of our other favorite sights in St. Petersburg is the Peterhof Gardens. Olga delivered us to just the right spot at just the right moment to capture the beauty of the fountains.The sights that a tourist visits are so important to an enjoyable tour, but what really made our experiences in St. Petersburg so memorable is the time that we spent with Olga. She is a beautiful, eloquent, articulate and refined Russian lady, who simply welcomes her guests to her city with charm and warmth. We quickly built a lasting friendship with Olga that transcends the many miles between our two homes. St. Petersburg is lovely, and Olga is its best commodity!
